Rachel & Nick | Duncton Village Hall
17th November 2015
I absolutely adored this wedding. There was just such a lovely feel about it, right from the very start. At the Bridal Prep I was surrounded by gorgeous flowers, gorgeous dresses, cupcakes - a baby! Everything was so pretty and Rachel and Nick had obviously gone to so much effort, which certainly paid off.
Their Ceremony took place at St Mary's Church in Billingshurst. Unfortunately, as is sometimes the way, their Vicar didn't allow photography during the Ceremony, so I couldn't take too many shots - but no matter, I got to stand at the back and be even more inconspicuous that normal! (Please do take note of this, every Vicar has a different view on photography so please make yourself aware in advance!)
We then made our way to the reception at Duncton Village Hall, which had been dressed absolutely beautifully with bunting, flowers, books, photographs, origami butterflies, ribbons, bicycle tyres, toy train tracks - you name it, it was in there!
The heavens opened exactly at the right time, just as the newlyweds and their guests sat down to enjoy their meal - followed by some brilliant speeches. Then, whilst some were enjoying lounging in the cosy Yurt, the happy couple were welcomed to the dance floor through a tunnel of bike wheels for their First Dance - to the Thomas The Tank Engine sound track!
Completely unique yet still the epitome of a quintessential English country wedding - well done and huge congratulations to lovely Rachel and Nick. Here's a small selection of their shots x
